Our yoga pose for the week is bound ankle pose.
This pose opens and relaxes the inner thighs and groin.
Bring the soles of your feet together bringing the heels close to your groin. Bending the knees, allow the legs to butterfly (fall) open. If you cannot relax your legs, place a towel under your sit bones to prop up your hips. You can also slide your heels away from your groin into more of a diamond shape.
Keeping your spine lengthened, lead with the chest pull your shoulders back and fold towards your feet.
