Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Office Administration program an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of medical office work ie. billing insurances, scheduling appointments an asset

Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with Clinical Director and multi-disciplinary healthcare team
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the clinic by providing administrative duties such as: scheduling appointments, answering telephones, scanning, faxing, mailing, etc.
- Greeting patients and maintaining a pristine friendly environment
- Ensuring confidentiality of patient records, medical information and communicate with insurance companies, adjustors and case managers
- Maintaining accurate files & patient records, consent forms, processing payments, end of day transaction reports and collections of all outstanding accounts
- Implement protocols and procedures to improve staff productivity, be responsible for managing inventory reports and ordering products
- Follow all reporting requirements for third party vendors – WCB, MVA, LTD claims. Laundry and cleaning duties as needed

- Have positive communication skills to provide a high quality patient experience
- Display a positive attitude with empathy to improve team productivity
- Be proficient with learning to use an appointment scheduling software
* Note: Training is provided on all aspects of the role with ongoing support from a core of other administrative assistants.
